USA Swimming is the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States. We promote the culture of swimming by creating safe and healthy opportunities for athletes and coaches of all backgrounds to participate and advance in the sport through clubs, events and education. Our membership is comprised of swimmers of every age and ability, all the way up to the Olympic Team, as well as coaches, officials and volunteers.
It is the mission of the IES to develop, improve, and support competitive swimming in the Inland Empire by providing a safe and positive atmosphere for all swimmers of all abilities to achieve and sustain lifelong success.
U.S. Masters Swimming is a national membership nonprofit that provides membership benefits to nearly 60,000 Masters swimmers across the country. USMS provide direct support to more than 1,200 Masters Swimming clubs and workout groups. Structure and organization of USMS programs vary and are driven by factors such as pool availability, instructor or coach availability, community support, and finances. Coaches write workouts and provide feedback and instruction.
The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) service organization and rule-making body that was formed in 1905 to create equitable playing conditions between high school sports teams in Washington. The Association consists of nearly 800 member high schools and middle/junior high schools, both public and private, and is divided into nine geographic service districts. The state staff administers Association policies, rules and regulations and provides other assistance and service to member schools.
